The Fundraising and Data Systems Administrator is responsible for managing all fundraising systems, including our online donor and event software, our fundraising database and prospect research systems to ensure accuracy of data and reporting, providing the best reporting and tools for the Development Services Unit. The Fundraising and Data Systems Administrator supports the fundraising efforts of the California 4-H Foundation and UC ANR Development Services and works closely with the business and finance teams, reporting directly to the Executive Director, Development Services Unit.
This includes creating, documenting and monitoring all data entry tasks and maintenance systems, particularly the database of record, Raiser's Edge; monitoring and maintaining online giving systems; and updating Development Services pages (including donation pages) on the ANR Web site. This position ensures the timely acknowledgement of gifts, tracking and facilitating stewardship processes and ensuring the integrity of the information and data produced. This position is also responsible for training all applicable staff to use Raiser's Edge and related modules and other advancement data systems. The Fundraising and Data Systems Administrator oversees all steps in the gift processing system and manages all facets of online giving platforms, including assessing current systems and recommending changes. The Fundraising and Data Systems Administrator supervises the Development Operations Associate and the Development Assistant who carry out gift processing, data entry, financial transactions, mailings, and other Development Services responsibilities.
This position will serve as a liaison to ANR Business Office Centers, UC Davis Financial Services, Communication Services and Information Technology, Statewide Programs, County Extension offices and Research and Extension Centers related to online data, gift processing and fundraising processes.
This includes the ongoing evaluation of processes, troubleshooting and web-based training to ensure smooth and efficient gift processing and communication.
