SAREP serves farmers, farmworkers, ranchers, researchers, educators, regulators, policy makers, industry professionals, consumers, and community organizations across the state. #WeAreUCANR http://bit.ly/WeAreUCANR
  3. UCANR’s Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program (SAREP) compiles, analyzes and translates existing academic research around a variety of agriculture and food systems topics to ensure research is accessible and useful. It builds networks between researchers and practitioners to improve how we conduct academic research, and strengthens local efforts by providing relevant data and data analysis. SAREP creates tools for farmers and local food system practitioners to assess and strengthen their own agricultural and marketing practices. It assesses existing programs to help them meet changing needs and serve as examples for burgeoning efforts throughout the state. SAREP conducts original research on issues that cut across disciplines and work with stakeholders to ensure research is useful credible. #WeAreUCANR http://bit.ly/WeAreUCANR
