CitrusSprayEx Application Workshop 2
Sponsor: ANR Program Support Unit

Join UCCE Specialist, Peter Ako Larbi, for this two-day, virtual training on spray application in citrus!

Objectives/Goals: These two, half-day workshops will cover the CitrusSprayEx Expert System, a decision support tool for planning and evaluating airblast spray application in citrus. Develop your knowledge and skills to effectively use this tool in your operations to improve your productivity while potentially reducing the frequency of your spray applications.

This training will focus on axial airblast sprayers, however, it will be applicable to air shear sprayers as well. Only air-assisted spray applications directed to tree canopies will be covered (no herbicide boom sprayer applications).

Agenda and registration coming soon!

Who Should Attend: Anyone directly involved with spray application operations, those who supervise applications, spray decision makers, orchard managers, grower/owners, and PCA's. Although targeted to citrus, most of the learning will generally apply to other tree crops.

Requirements: You will need a laptop or computer with a stable internet connection in order to participate in the online webinar. The CitrusSprayEx Application is currently set up for Windows operating systems only (not MAC). We will send instructions and assist you if needed with installation of the application used during the course.

Continuing Education Units: CEU's have been applied for from the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR). Once approved, hours offered will be posted here.
