LIVE! Ask a UC Master Food Preserver
Wednesday, February 3, 2021
Online via Zoom
UC Master Food Preservers invite you to an Ask a UC Master Food Preserver Q&A session with an emphasis on preserving winter foods. We'll have a team of volunteers who will share how they’ve preserved citrus, broth, soups and cabbage. They're also happy to answer any food preservation questions.
This month's main topic for "Ask A Master Food Preserver" will be pressure canning soups. We will talk about processing soups and then open up the discussion for general preserving questions. This is your chance to chat directly with Master Food Preservers to answer your personal questions about safe home food preservation.
UCCE Master Food Preservers Of El Dorado County is partnering with Amador County and Sacramento County Master Food Preservers in this "Ask A Master Food Preserver" series which are presented on Zoom the first Wednesday of each month from 6:30pm-7:30. Topics range from the basics of preserving to fun seasonal home-preserved products.
Join us and tell us what you want to preserve this winter; let's chat!
Free! Registration required any time before and during the session. You will receive the link to the session in the registration confirmation email.
