National 4-H Week
Contact: Erika Armstrong,
Sponsor: UC 4-H Program of Tuolumne County

National 4-H Week is October 2-8, 2022. Tuolumne County has special activities planned!

You can:

  • Make a poster for National 4-H Week that encourages people to join.
  • See the information page for ideas and rules.
  • Drop your poster off to be judged! Awards are announced at Achievement Night.
  • Take a picture of your poster on display in a local business. Submit the picture to the County Ambassador Team to enter a special drawing for a 4-H shirt ordered in your size.
  • Donate something cute or useful to the First Baby born to a Tuolumne County family during National 4-H Week. Bring your donation to Achievement Night. Thank you Groveland Highlanders club for organizing this community service project. The gifts and Honorary 4-H Member certificate are presented to the baby’s family. Sometimes the baby grows up to be a real 4-H member!
  • Come to the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday, October 4 at 9 AM to hear the presentation by your Ambassador Team in honor of National 4-H Week. The meetings are filmed for Cable 8, the local access channel.
  • Wear your 4-H shirt on 4-H Spirit Day, Tuesday, October 4, and tell people about 4-H for credit in your record book.
