Today President Napolitano announced that she is issuing a new presidential policy that prohibits sexual harassment and sexual violence, provides support for victims, and outlines training for faculty, staff and students. The new UC policy complies with the federal Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act regulations regarding domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking. As part of the University’s obligation to be transparent and publicly accountable for its conduct, including the way it compensates its faculty and staff, UC is conducting its annual disclosure of systemwide employee compensation for calendar year 2012.
