This is to inform you of changes to the timing of final pay when an employee retires or voluntarily resigns from an ANR position.
Previously, University practice was to pay out final wages within 72 hours of the employee's last day at work. ANR will now issue final wages with the employee's next regular payday. This change is being applied across the UC system; it is not specific to ANR or UC Davis.
To provide two examples: If a monthly paid, non-represented employee resigns effective September 15, 2016, final pay would be included in the October 1 paycheck. If a bi-weekly paid, non-represented employee resigns effective September 15,, 2016, final pay would be...
UC Office of the President recently announced the implementation of a new minimum wage policy for UC employees. All appointment types, 50% or more, are eligible with the exception of Student titles. No UC ANR employees will be affected this fiscal year by the policy, however new vendor contracts will be affected and ANR will need to ensure compliance. The policy is effective on October 1, 2015, and is described below. If you have specific questions regarding the policy or how it will affect the employees in your unit, please contact UC ANR Human Resources.

Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to inform you that the University will be implementing systemwide salary increases for the 2013-14 fiscal year for all non-represented career staff employees.
The increases, which were authorized by President Yudof, are intended to acknowledge the fact that non-represented staff employees have received only one general salary increase in the past five years. The increases also are intended to partially offset increased retirement and health benefit costs that faculty and staff have absorbed over the past few years.

As part of the University’s obligation to be transparent and publicly accountable for its conduct, including the way it compensates its faculty and staff, UC is conducting its annual disclosure of systemwide employee compensation for calendar year 2010. This disclosure parallels last year’s payroll disclosure and is consistent with similar practices at many other public institutions.
This is a courtesy notice to inform you that the 2010 payroll data will be placed in campus libraries and made available for review upon request. This information will also be available to media upon request. To help explain this information, an analysis of the data has been posted to
