This week on In the Garden, we'll be “taking you down the road” to Corona Del Mar to visit a 2.2-acre gem of a garden along a busy stretch of Pacific Coast Highway.
Back in 2015, UC Master Gardener host Ann Liu spoke with the new Executive Director of Sherman Library and Gardens, Scott LaFleur, who was once the horticulture director at the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden and took the helm at Sherman just that year.
Sherman Library and Gardens has been here since 1955 and Scott has continued with the botanical, educational, historical, and cultural institutions public gardens are intended to enhance.

It's October! Pumpkin season! This week on In the Garden, UCCE Master Gardeners Teena Spindler and Katrina Kirkeby have a fun show planned.
Teena and Katrina will tell you all about what exactly pumpkins are, how to grow them, and all the things you can do with them.
Besides eating them in pies and roasting the seeds for munching later, learn about what to do with what's left over. Use it to make a floral centerpiece or plant succulents in the shell for a living arrangement. So much fun for the holidays to come!
