A very much needed repeat of an important show this week. There is no doubt this year will be a huge year for wildfires!
We may be out of our drought for now but all that rain we had created that much more fuel that is quickly dying back. Our intrepid “In the Garden” host for this week, David Letourneau, is bringing you a new installment called “Creating a Defensible Space Around Your Home”.
David will talk again to OC Fire Authority representatives to bring you new ideas plus all the recommendations to help keep your property safe from an oncoming wildfire. Brush clearance out to 100 feet from structures is rule of thumb. This may require cooperation from your neighbors so BE A GOOD NEIGHBOR and listen in on what to do to be safe this fire season.
