Like many people this time of year, I take advantage of arachnophobia, the fear of spiders, by having spiders alongside witches and skeletons among the Halloween décor in my front yard. But should people be afraid of spiders?
Why Are People Scared of Spiders?
One possible reason for people's fear of spiders is they are so different from the rest of nature, which Hollywood and the media have exploited.
