Carol, a great read! Years ago, when our older son was in preschool, the children decorated a tree for the Palm Springs Desert Museum event. We cut a large juniper limb that glowed with blue juniper berries and helped the students make ornaments "for the birds." The kids had great fun mixing bird seed, peanut butter and suet and stuffing pinecones or grapefruit halves with the mixture and decorating the tree. It was its own unique show stopper!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Kathy (your fellow classmate)
