South Section 4-H Field Day is open to all 4-H Youth members age 9 to 19 years of age as of December 31 of the current 4-H year. Primary participants may participate in the primary presentation clinic held at Southern Section 4-H Field Day.

If you received a gold award for your presentation at County Presentation Day, you may enter that presentation at South Section Field Day. Educational Display, Impromptu, Extemporaneous, and the Interview Contest are open to all members even if they did not receive a gold award or even if they did not enter at County Presentation Day. Members may also enter the judging contests.

Counties must provide evaluators and room host.  If Counties do not provide the required amount, county members may not be able to participate.
