I need to remove a very healthy and large Solanum rantonnetii- the roots of which have pushed over a brick retaining wall. What is the best way to ensure the roots do not sprout once I dig out the main root ball?
thank you!

Dig out as much of the roots as possible, then monitor the area cutting off any emerging new shoots immediately; or cut down to ground and paint an herbicide on the cut surfaces.
