Thank you for attending
the UC Master Gardeners
for the 4th Annual
Tomato Extravaganza!
It was held:
Saturday, August 21, 2010
In the "Garden of the Seven Sisters"
The Master Gardeners Sustainable Gardening Demonstration Garden
2156 Sierra Way, San Luis Obispo
What a wonderful day it was in our new Garden of the Seven Sisters, the UCCE Master Gardeners Demonstration Garden, adjacent to the County UCCE Building.
It was a beautiful day in San Luis Obispo, which as many of you remembered that the previous year was a record breaking heat-wave! We had an immense amount of community participation, that really made the day fun and enjoyable!
The California Rare Fruit Growers were here! Bringing wonderful varieties of grafted apple trees!
Carol Hopper brought over a beautiful selection of plants and garden accessories from the Achievement House near Cuesta College! They have huge nursery of plants available all year long and the proceeds provide vocational opportunities for individuals with special needs.
Plein air artists were tucked into the corners of the garden,
capturing the moment on canvas.
