It's November! We have a new, fresh edition of what we call our “what to do in the garden this month” show. This week on In The Garden with UC Master Gardeners, you will hear tips, ideas, and personal experiences that you can also try in your own garden this month.
Katrina Kirkeby and Teena Spindler share their vast knowledge with you and have been for over 10 years now. You could have expected to still be picking tomatoes right now if you'd practiced succession planting over the season where you plant some early, plant some more mid-season, and more again later in the season.
Plant root veggies, greens, brassicas like broccoli and cauliflower. Think about cool season flowers, native plants, winter blooming bulbs for outdoors. Teena discusses forcing bulbs for gifts! More inventive gift suggestions are coming your way in this show both to make and to give a favorite gardener in your life.
