Great topic. Native plants providing pollen only are few and far between. Carpenteria californica, Mentzelia lindleyi, Phacelia hastata, Phacelia humilis, and Prunus ilicifolia are a few examples in addition to Eschscholzia californica. Plants providing pollen and nectar are a little less scarce.

How cool are those glints of light from Cuckoo's wings? Makes me think of a helicopter.
