As everybody has undoubtedly heard, we are in the midst of one of the worst droughts on record in the state of California. Recently, the cities of Redding and Shasta Lake passed water regulations that conform to the state Drought Management Plan which calls on customers to cut their water usage by 20%. While some people are unhappy about the proposed fines for violators, most people are aware of the urgency of scaling back their water usage considering the current drought situation.
