About the Event

Do not miss this upcoming meeting hosted by The University of Arizona, Arizona Experiment Station and Emerging Viruses in Cucurbits Working Group (EVCWG) that is focused on the management of insect transmitted viruses in desert melon production. Two of our local UCCE Imperial County advisors, Ana Pastrana (Plant Pathologist) and Arun Babu (Entomologist) will give a 30 minute presentation covering the management of whitefly and viral diseases in the low desert: Growers and PCA perspective from the Imperial County. This meeting will take place at the Yuma Agricultural Center on Tuesday, June 10th and runs from 10am - 3pm. Continuing education credits will be offered for licensed applicators and PCAs in Arizona (AZDA) and California (CA DPR). Registration is preferred for planning purposes.
