Welcome Back to 4-H!
Thank you for your continued support as a 4-H adult volunteer. As a volunteer, you play an important role in the development of young people, helping them to identify their spark and develop the skills and positive outcomes that lead to thriving. Below are the steps to being reappointed as a volunteer. We look forward to working with you as a valuable asset to the 4-H Youth Development Program.
Step 1: Enroll in ZSuite
Log into your family profile in ZSuite. Log into your adult record and click “Enroll for 2024-2025.” Enter all required information and submit. 4-H enrollment status will show as pending until all enrollment steps are completed.
The 4-H Enrollment System will be closed from June 23th through August 15th. Enrollment for the 2025-2026 year begins at noon on August 15th.
Step 2: Pay 4-H Program Fees
Submit your $30 adult registration fee online or to your county 4-H office. NOTE: $1.25 processing fee added for credit cards.
Step 3: Complete eXtension Course
Log into your eXtension account and click “2025-2026 California Returning Volunteer Course”. After entering the enrollment key, click "Enroll Me".

- CANRA for Volunteers (30 minutes)
- 4-H Thriving Model of PYD (15 minutes)
- 4-H Vision & Impact (5 minutes)
Step 4: Submit a Project Plan (Project Leaders Only)
If you are a 4-H Project Leader, your last step is to submit a project plan for each project that you will be leading. Once your project plan has been received, your project will be added to ZSuite for members to join. Email completed plans to your county 4-H office.

Enrollment Completion
After your county 4-H office reviews the enrollment, you will receive an email sent to your Family email account to confirm your enrollment status as Active. Oncen your enrollment is active, you may begin 4-H activities! You may access your 4-H profile at any time of the year to change what projects you are involved in, update your health information, etc. Note: The lead project leader must complete enrollment before their project will be made available to members.
