The Kings County UC CalFresh Nutrition Education Program is dedicated to working with families, schools and agencies to deliver lessons and activities that support making healthful eating and fitness choices. Our local staff is supported by experts from the University of California who are on the cutting-edge of the latest research and curriculum design.
Several times a year, workshops are offered on nutrition and other topics designed to address issues of interest to those working in education, health and social services. These programs feature knowledgeable UC professionals and research-based resources.
