Lassen County 4-H Program sponsors eight different clubs: South County, Dyer Mountain, Johnstonville, Lake, Milford, Richmond, Standish, and Thompson Peak.  Projects include everything from Equine and Sheep to Baking and Cooking, from Community Service and Leadership to Outdoor Adventure and from Dog to Shooting Sports.  With over 150 members, there is something for everyone!

4-H Members serve as Club Officers through an election process based on the club's constitution and bylaws. The 4-H Club Officer team works under the guidance of the Club Leader and/or Officer's Advisor. As a team, you plan and lead club meetings. Club Officer positions vary based on the club's needs. Generally, 4-H clubs have a president, vice president, secretary, treasurer and sergeant of arms. See below for descriptions for a Healthy Living Officer and Civic Engagement Officer.

Attention Horse Project Members:  A form for each horse must be on file in the 4-H Office at least 120 days prior to any 4-H horse event.  Any member without a form on file at least 120 days prior to an event may not participate in that event.  The horse must be owned or leased by the 4-H member and must be under the direct care of the 4-H member for the 120 days prior to the event. Before your project or club starts a fundraiser, you are to notify the 4-H Office by completing the Lassen County 4-H Fundraiser Approval Form and returning it to the 4-H Office for approval from the 4-H Staff.  Please allow 2 WEEKS prior to the fundraiser.  Lassen County Fundraiser Approval Form
