Introduction to the Event:

The Glenn County 4-H Fundraiser Dinner and Bake Sale is a fun County-wide event that invites the community to participate on the first Saturday in March, serving pork loin, salad, rice, roll, and a drink. The Fundraiser Dinner not only includes dinner but also a kids' carnival and a bake sale. The Fundraiser Dinner is the largest fundraiser of the year for our 4-H youth development program, and all proceeds benefit events, awards, and trainings for the 4-H youth. Families are asked to contribute a homemade dessert to the bake sale. There is also an option to participate in the Battle of the Bakers competition at the event. 4-H Adult Volunteers and 4-H Members are asked to sign up online for various shifts.

Who?

Any 4-H members and Adult Volunteers. The community is also invited to purchase tickets to attend the dinner.

How?

4-H Adult Volunteers and members are asked to sign up online for various shifts. Shifts involve setup, cleanup, serving food, assisting members of our community, collecting tickets, helping with to-go orders, volunteering at the bake sale, and assisting with the carnival. What is the Bake Sale?

The Bake Sale will take place during the Fundraiser Dinner. Customers will have the opportunity to purchase desserts through donations. The “Battle of the Bakers” cake, cupcake, and cookie decorating contest will take place during the fundraiser dinner. All desserts will be available for guests to purchase through donation.

Awards and Recognition?

Fundraiser Dinner Ticket Sales Competition - incentives to sell and participate.

Top Club Seller: If the Top Club Seller is also the Top County Seller, the 2^nd place winner will then move up and be awarded 1^st place, Top Club Seller, and so on. All club top ticket sellers must sell a minimum of 20 tickets each to qualify.

1^st place will receive a $75.00 gift card and a 2026 Glenn County Fair Ride Pass.
2^nd place will receive a $50 gift card and a 4-H t-shirt.
3^rd place will receive a $25 gift card.

Top County Seller will receive a $100.00 gift card, a 2026 Glenn County Fair Ride Pass, and a 4-H t-shirt. The top county ticket seller must sell a minimum of 30 tickets to qualify.

4-H Clubs will earn $1.00 from each ticket sold by their club members. 4-H clubs will get to choose what to do with this income for their club!

Battle of the Bakers Competition: Certificates and participation ribbons will be awarded to all primary members. 1^st through 3^rd place will be awarded in each age division, Junior, Intermediate, Senior, and Adults. Prizes will include gift cards. Prizes awarded as follows:
