- Identification: Weed Photo Gallery - The UCIPM Weed Photo Gallery includes many weed species found in California farms & landscapes.
- Weed Research and Information Center UCD - An interdisciplinary collaboration that fosters research in weed management and facilitates distribution of associated knowledge for the benefit of agriculture and for the preservation of natural resources.
- UC IPM WeedCUT - A decision support tool provides land managers with guidance on a range of methods for managing invasive plants in natural areas using non-chemical approaches exclusively, for situations when use of herbicides is restricted or not desired.
- UC IPM Natural Area Weed Management - Includes Pest Notes and Natural Area Pest Notes of weed species that are problematic in natural areas.
- Yellow Starthistle Guidelines - Pest Note provided by UC Integrated Pest Management. Includes: identification, biology, and management.
- UC IPM Agricultural Pests - Pest management guidelines by crop type, includes weed management.
- UCCE - El Dorado County Invasive Weed Management Program - Describes the county's noxious weed programs and includes links to a number of weed-related sites

- California Department of Food and Agriculture Noxious Weed Programs and "Encycloweedia" - Notes on identification, biology, and management of plants defined as noxious weeds by California laws.
- United States Department of Agriculture: Noxious Weed Program - Federal noxious weed activities including exclusion, permitting and (in cooperation with other agencies and state agencies) integrated management of introduced weeds, and biological control. Includes fact sheets, regulations, and responses.
- California Invasive Plant Council - Cal-IPC provides science-based tools and information to help land managers and others make the best choices for California.
