By completing a Record Book and participating in at least one project, Primary Members will receive a stripe and pin for their hat. Primary members are not required to complete a 4-H Record Book.

As a Primary Member, which Record Book should you fill out?

• If the member is participating in an iSprout curriculum:
  • iSprout Primary Personal Development Report (print pages 6-11 to include in your Record Book)
• If the member is not participating in an iSprout curriculum:
  • Primary Basic Personal Development Report (print pages 4-7 to include in your Record Book)

Primary members are not eligible for competition, including 4-H Record Book awards or competition. Primary work is not carried over to the PDR when 4-H'er becomes a regular member. It is still recommended to keep previous years records behind the current year, for future reflection.
