2018 Entomology Seminar (December 4, 2018)
This seminar will provide an overview of pest biology and management, including aphids, thrips, and lepidoptera, for both leafy greens and cole crops. This seminar will also address the potential regulatory situation of pyrethroids and neonicotinoids. This year, we are inviting speakers from outside California, to present their research on managing these pests in their systems. The major goal of this seminar is to review information on the biology of leafy green and cole crop pests, as well as, gather information on how other researchers and growers are managing and controlling these pests.

The purpose of the Ag Innovations Conference series is to introduce new technologies to the grower community by speakers from universities, research organizations, and the agriculture input industry. Please see attached agenda for more information.
Cauliflower Irrigation Field Trial
UC Cooperative Extension will host a field day at the USDA-ARS Spence
research farm to show a field trial evaluating water use in drip irrigated
cauliflower. This is an opportunity to see first-hand the effect of water
management on cauliflower production under drip.
