Camp Tweety

Camp Tweety

Camp Tweety will not be held in 2026. Future session dates and registration information will be posted here once the 4-H Office confirms plans for the next camp season. Thank you for your patience.

Camp Tweety is an overnight outreach camp for students in 4th through 8th grade. Activities include swimming (weather permitting), evening campfires, archery, a climbing wall, a giant swing, a slip-n-slide, and hands-on projects. Camp is open to 4-H members and non-members.

Who can attend

Youth must be age 9 by the time of camp. 4-H members and their friends are invited. Non-members pay the camp fee plus a 4-H enrollment fee.

Camp location

Camp Oakhurst in Coarsegold, California.

Volunteer with Camp Tweety

When Camp Tweety runs, the program needs certified 4-H leaders aged 21 or older to serve as chaperones and high school teen camp counselors. If you are interested in either role, contact the 4-H Office to be added to the volunteer list.

The Camp Committee is made up of teen counselors, chaperones, helpers, the camp director, and 4-H staff. During active camp years, the committee meets monthly from February through July. Meeting location and time are announced each year.
