Youth Member Resources

These resources help youth members track their progress, explore leadership opportunities, and prepare for awards.

4-H Record Books

The 4-H Record Book helps members reflect on their year, track their accomplishments, and set goals for the future.

Record books allow members to:

• document their project work

• record activities and achievements

• reflect on their learning experiences

• earn recognition through the 4-H awards system

Incentives and Awards

4-H members can earn recognition for their participation and achievements.

Awards may include:

• Star Ranks

• Pins and stripes worn on 4-H hats

• Special county awards

These recognitions celebrate the effort members put into their projects and leadership.

County Ambassador Program

The County Ambassador program gives experienced members the opportunity to represent 4-H at events and serve as youth leaders.

Ambassadors may:

• assist with county events

• mentor younger members

• help promote 4-H in the community

Scholarships

Scholarships are available at both the county and state level for graduating 4-H members.

Scholarship opportunities recognize members who have demonstrated leadership, community service, and commitment to the 4-H program.

Volunteer Resources

Volunteers play a key role in supporting youth and running successful clubs and projects.

Volunteer resources include:
