Approximate Yields

Knowing how much to expect from your garden helps you plan what and how much to plant each season. The following yields are approximate, measured in pounds per 15-foot row for 30 common vegetable crops. Some crops grown on raised beds with two rows will yield more per foot of garden space. Keep in mind that yields vary based on variety, soil health, climate, and care. For specific variety information, reference plant labels and seed packets.

For guidance on when and how to harvest and store your vegetables, visit the Harvesting and Storing page.
