UC ANR realizes that the cost of conducting field research can sometimes be a disincentive to scientists. Fortunately, UC ANR and each REC provides funding to reduce the full cost of research for UC researchers. UC rates are provided to a Principal Investigator affiliated with a University of California institution. Funds must be held in a UC account to be eligible for the UC rates. UC ANR also offers additional funding to new users of the Research & Extension Centers.
