Becoming a UC Master Gardener

Updated March 2, 2026

We are no longer accepting applications for the 2026 training class.

If you are interested in becoming a UC Master Gardener volunteer in the future, we expect to host our next training in 2028 or 2029, with applications available in the preceding fall season. The class fee will likely range from $160 to $175.

We hold public workshops throughout the year. If you were unable to take the full course, consider joining us at a one of these fun events.

Be sure to sign up below for updates on workshops and training classes sent via email!
