UC ANR Chart of Accounts
New Financial System and Chart of Accounts
UC ANR has moved to a new financial system, Oracle Financials (Aggie Enterprise), along with a new Chart of Accounts (COA).
The COA is made up of several chart fields, including:
- Entity
- Fund
- Financial Department
- Natural Account
- Project
- Purpose
- Program
- Activity

The new COA replaced the legacy Full Accounting Unit (FAU) on January 4, 2024. For any additional support and to learn more about the transition or legacy accounts, please reach out to your business manager or business partner. They can guide and support with the new COA structure.
Chart of Accounts Governance
To maintain accurate financial data and support consistent reporting, UC ANR has established a Chart of Accounts Governance Committee.
The committee includes representatives from:
- Financial Services
- Resource Planning and Management
- Business Operations Center (BOC)
- Statewide Programs and Research & Extension Center Operations (SWPR)
The committee is responsible for reviewing, approving, and implementing all changes to COA segments.
Requesting COA Changes
To request a new or updated COA segment:
- Complete the COA Segment Request Form (Archived).
- Email the completed form as an attachment to: ANR-AggieEnterprise@ucanr.edu
Meeting Schedule and Deadlines
The COA Governance Committee meets on scheduled dates to review requests.
- Submit requests by Thursday before the scheduled meeting.
- Refer to the 2025–2026 Fiscal Year COA Governance Committee meeting schedule (coming soon) for specific dates and deadlines.
