This home vineyard workshop is an overview of three grape-growing approaches: Organic/sustainable; Dry-farming/deficit irrigation; and Climate-conscious conventional vineyards. Topics to cover include basic farming techniques, a typical calendar year and how the different approaches differ, vineyard planting checklist and IPM for common pests including Red Leaf Roll, Red Blotch, Pierce’s Disease, Mites, and Mealy bugs.
