Ryan Hill, Agronomy and Weed Sciences Advisor with the UC Cooperative Extension in Tehama County, will be speaking about ongoing research on the spring management of Johnsongrass weed. This project will be discussed in its context, with background on herbicide resistance in Johnsongrass and a brief explanation of the chemical properties of relevant herbicides, and how they might be expected to behave based on field conditions.
