Join HREC and the Sanhedrin Chapter of the California Native Plant Society for a morning of appreciation of lichens and bryophytes (mosses, liverworts, and hornworts) with Marisela de Santa Anna and Jen Riddell.  We will do a brief introduction to the groups, some exploration to gather samples, and then spend some time with microscopes and hand lenses to examine them up close.  

Bring clothing appropriate to the weather for the day, water and snacks for yourself, a hand lens or microscope if you have them, and any guides you may already have.  We’ll have some microscopes and hand lenses to share.
