YQCA training is required for all youth (8 years of age(as of 12/31/25) and older) who plan to exhibit animals at the Siskiyou Golden Fair. If you would like the opportunity to attend an in-person training we will be hosting a training Sunday, February 22^nd  at 3:30pm in the cafeteria/multipurpose room of the Montague Elementary School.  Registration is required at https://yqcaprogram.org/ Select the Siskiyou YQCA training on 2/22/26. Cost of the in Person training is $3.00. All youth need to register and then take the pre-test. Once you have registered you will find the pre-test by clicking on your profile (blue button on upper right had side), then click on “Enrolled ILT Trainings”. You will then see the button that lets you take the pre-test. You can not print the certificate until you have completed the pre-test, attended the training and completed the post test.  After the course you can take the post test and print your certificate by going to your profile, Select “Course Certificates”, complete the post test and then print your certificate. This is the only in-person class that we know of, if you do not attend the in-person training you will be required to do the web-based training for $12. You must remember to take this course before entry deadline for fair (June 5, 2026).
