This week’s topic is “Spring into Irrigation " with Elise Shtayyeh and Maureen Clark.

Get a head start on prepping your garden for spring! Help your garden thrive this spring! Learn all about the basics of drip irrigation and their proper maintenance. The webinar will dive into how irrigation is fundamental to a water-wise garden! Learn about local incentives and about tips and tricks to keep your irrigation system working the way it should!

Elise Shtayyeh is an Associate Water Resources Specialist for Solano County Water Agency. In her role, she helps to oversee conservation and public outreach programming. She has worked for Solano County Water Agency for four years and has a background in education. 

Maureen Clark is landscape designer and irrigation specialist with over 20 years of experience. She owns Bright Garden Designs. Her designs specialize in fire-wise and water- wise landscapes. She is a professional that works with nature to conserve water, to reduce waste, prevent pollution and improve soil.

 The Master Gardener Library Series, a collaboration of the UC Master Gardener Program of Yolo County and the Yolo County Library, is held on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. Presentations are free and open to anyone with an interest in gardening. No registration necessary.
