It is a wonderful way to give back to the UC Master Gardener program and is quite easy. You can donate now (once, monthly, or quarterly) and/or include our UC Master Gardener program in your trust, which I have done. You may designate the funds for a particular program, or state that you want them to be “unrestricted funds,” which is ideal for all non-profits. (You need to include a letter with your gift stating the program you wish to support.)

Here are 4 ways you can donate:

Online gift

• https://give.ucanr.edu/forms/ContraCosta-MG is the direct link to make an online gift. This link is found near the bottom of the Contra Costa Master Gardener website (link).

Check/Donor Advised Fund/IRA Distributions

• Make the check payable to UC Regents. Use the EIN #94-3067788.
• Write "UC Master Gardeners of Contra Costa County" on the memo line.
• Mail check to:

• Email Scott Brayton at sabrayton@ucanr.edu to inform him of the pending gift.
