No registration required.
An Ask the Master Gardener (AAMG) table will be available to answer all your gardening questions and provide expert gardening advice.
Our gardens are alive with an abundance of small invertebrates, many of which play a crucial role in maintaining the health and balance of our home ecosystem. While these organisms are often seen as pests, sometimes prompting the use harsh chemicals for control, there are environmentally friendly alternatives. Approaches such as encouraging natural predators or adopting cultural practices can effectively manage pest populations while enhancing garden vitality and supporting biodiversity. The goal of this presentation is to offer practical insights into the biology and management of garden invertebrates, highlighting strategies that not only address pest issues but also foster a thriving, diverse garden community.
