Information to Share with Event Participants

Use the information below to help participants prepare for meetings and events at the ANR Building.

Building Access

Please advise caterers and participants of building access times before your event.

• Business hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. All doors are locked before and after that time.
• If you have arranged an alternate time for doors to be unlocked, someone must monitor the door outside of business hours.
• Employees are not allowed to let people into the building before or after regular business hours.
• Do not prop doors open with chairs, trash receptacles, or other items.
• Contact Program Support or Facilities to make access arrangements before your event.

Parking

• Parking is free. Permits are not needed.
• Overflow parking is available on nearby side streets north of the building.
• To avoid being towed, do not park:
  • Across Pena Street near Get Fit or other businesses
  • In motor pool spaces
  • Behind other vehicles
• Lock valuables in the trunk or keep them out of sight. Do not leave items visible inside your vehicle.

Smoke- and Tobacco-Free Facility

The ANR Building is a smoke- and tobacco-free facility. Smoking and tobacco use are not permitted in the building, parking lot, or anywhere on the property.

Please help us be a good neighbor by not using adjacent properties to smoke or use tobacco.

Emergency Procedures

If the alarm sounds:

• Immediately go to the nearest exit.
• Meet across the street at the Davis Musical Theatre Company parking lot. Use caution when crossing Pena Street.
• Look for the Program Support Unit (PSU) sign and gather near that group.

Meeting Lead Responsibility

The meeting lead is responsible for bringing a list of meeting participants to the meeting location. Emergency personnel may use this list to confirm that everyone is safely out of the building.

Lactation Room, Water Fountain, and Restrooms

• The lactation room is on the second floor near the southeast restrooms.
• The water fountain and restrooms are located in the hallway behind the Valley Conference rooms.
