Our demonstration garden was established to provide hands-on community education for sustainable gardening practices.

We “Cultivate Knowledge” by teaching irrigation, composting, integrated pest management (IPM), raised bed planting, pruning, weed management and more.

NEW! Pinto Lake County Park Demonstration Garden

Our NEW Teaching and Demonstration Garden is located at Pinto Lake County Park at 757 Green Valley Road in Watsonville, which includes an orchard, children's area, California native meadow, a variety of raised beds, and more.

Directions to the garden:

  • It is best to use your GPS with the street address above.
  • Note that the Demo Garden is at Image removed. Pinto Lake COUNTY Park, NOT Image removed. Pinto Lake CITY Park. The County Park is located about a mile PAST the City park on Green Valley Road.

Once inside the park, drive to the last parking lot. The demonstration garden is a short walk from there. Here is an aerial map to to get to the garden:
