Description Franklin Canyon, Martinez, Ca.June 29,2017My husband and I were watching a family of California Quail that hatched in our yard, and who's progress we have followed since the chicks looked like little brown cotton balls.I was hoping to get a good shot of the family, but they were not going to let me get close enough. I decided that the view was photo worthy even without the quail family. I leave it to your imagination to hear the soft calls of the baby quail.
