Description	The photo was taken at the UCCE-owned Hansen Agricultural Research and Extension Center during a master gardener work session. The hawk was perched on a welcome to the garden sign. I suspect this hawk was immature and hadn't yet figured out his chances of finding food (mice) in the garden was fairly remote with a bunch of master gardener and master gardener trainees around.
