| Description | I took this photo of grapes we had just picked in our small Amador County vineyard in September, 2016. The contrast of the white bucket with the intensity of the deep blue grapes initially caught my eye. Seeing these beautiful grapes spill out of the bucket took me back through the many stages in their growth -- from empty, bare branches to leafy limbs filled with tiny clusters, hand-picked at just the right sweetness, on their way to being crushed and fermented into delicious Zinfandel wine. |
