Photo Information June produce from my small backyard garden - tomatoes, green beans, zucchini, onions, apples, nectaplums and various herbs.
Photographer
Genis, Linda:
Description This photo was taken in my backyard in Santa Ana, where I have 2 raised beds and several fruit trees. It represents what is ripe in my yard in early June - the tomatoes came in sooner than usual this year. I love the various colors of the produce and marvel at how one tiny seed can produce many pounds of delicious and nutritious food. I got some new varieties of tomatoes this year at our Master Gardener plant exchange, but when I brought them home, I found that the plant labels had faded. It will soon be obvious which one is the Early girl and which one is the Pineapple tomato.
