Description	As the Master Gardeners were taking a tour of Poots Cactus Farm in Ripon, many of the succulents were blooming. The owners said that just three days earlier virtually every cactus and succulent was in bloom. Bright colors everywhere, it felt like walking through a rainbow of colors. I knew that they produced flowers, but I had no idea that they were so vibrant and showy. I developed a new appreciation for those spiny dangerous looking plants.
