Save-the-date for the largest statewide event dedicated to UC Master Gardener volunteers to come together and share their knowledge and experiences. The triennial 2023 UC Master Gardener Program conference is taking place Oct. 2 - 6, 2023 in Tahoe City, Calif.

This year, we will be gathering in person and virtually to discuss the latest in horticultural research, best practices, and new techniques to improve gardening success. The conference will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, and breakout sessions that will provide a wealth of information for attendees.

Nestled on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe, Tahoe City is the crown jewel of the Sierra Nevada and the ideal location for the 2023 UC Master Gardener Conference.  The conference is being hosted at Granlibakken Tahoe, a resort built around connection - with adventure, land, water and sky with great food, and one another.

Located minutes from Tahoe City the Granlibakken prides itself on preserving the natural environment and providing a space that feels like old Tahoe.  Recreational activities (swimming, volleyball, tennis, biking and hiking) are all on conference grounds, and a 1.5 mile private trail leads to North Lake Tahoe.

Whether you're a seasoned UC Master Gardener or just starting out, the statewide conference is an excellent opportunity to network with other gardening enthusiasts, learn from industry experts, and gain valuable insights to enhance your gardening skills.

In addition to the educational sessions, the conference will also include opportunities for attendees to connect with UC ANR publications, UC Integrated Pest Management, as well as a virtual marketplace and silent auction where you can purchase items to support local county programs.

We look forward to seeing you at the conference and sharing our passion for gardening with you!
