Discover Lake Tahoe:This is a narrated tour around Lake Tahoe and Squaw Valley.
The tour is very informative and interactive. Besides our standard photo stops, the tour includes a 90 min. stop at the Boatworks Mall in Tahoe City to check out local merchandise and have lunch at one of the waterfront restaurants or sandwich shops (not included).
Other scenic photo stops:
Emerald Bay, Squaw Valley (site of the 1960 Winter Olympic Games), Truckee River bridge in Tahoe City and the Logan Shoals on the East shore.

Activity Level: Moderate, ambulating in and out of a passenger van, walking on uneven and steep terrain.

ThunderBird Lodge: Educational and entertaining docent lead visit of Lake Tahoe's Castle-in-the-Sky.  Built in the 1930's this six-acre fairy tale estate boasts spectacular views of Lake Tahoe's east shore along with spectacular architecture and an eccentric history.

Tahoe Maritime Museum & Gardens:  The museum provides a unique cultural experience where the Lake Tahoe regional maritime heritage is preserved, enjoyed, and passed along to future generations through innovative interpretation and public education.  Start with a group introduction to the museum and then tour the museum and garden on your own.
