General PEARS Training for all California LIAs

California Department of Social services leads PEARS training efforts for CalFresh Healthy Living (CFHL) implementing agencies.

The FFY23 PEARS Recorded Trainings show you, step-by-step, how to enter data into PEARS. The demographic data card training recording and the FFY23 PEARS updates recording are also available through this course.

Module-specific PEARS Database Training Participant's Guides are PDF tools created by CDSS that you can use to follow along with the recorded webinars.

PEARS Training for California LHDs

In addition to training for all California LIAs from CDSS, Nutrition Policy Institute (NPI) provides training for topics specific to LHDs.

Topics include an in-depth introduction to PEARS custom questions and bite-sized tutorials (less than one minute) on PEARS custom questions, organizational-level PSE reporting, and area-wide PSE reporting.
