CitrusSprayEx Application Workshop

Thursday & Friday, June 18-19, 2020

9:00 AM-12:30 PM
Zoom Video/Audio Conference Call

Objectives/Goals: Join us for two half-day workshops covering CitrusSprayEx Expert System, a decision support tool for planning and evaluating airblast spray application in citrus. Develop your knowledge and skills to effectively use this tool in your operations to improve your productivity while potentially reducing the frequency of your spray applications.

Who Should Attend: Anyone directly involved with spray application operations, those who supervise applications, spray decision makers, orchard managers, grower/owners, and PCA's. Although targeted to citrus, most of the learning will generally apply to other tree crops.

This training will focus on axial airblast sprayers, however, it will be applicable to air shear sprayers as well. Only air-assisted spray applications directed to tree canopies will be covered (no herbicide boom sprayer applications).

Requirements: You will need a laptop or computer with a stable internet connection in order to participate in the online webinar. The CitrusSprayEx Application is currently set up for Windows operating systems only (not MAC). We will send instructions and assist you if needed with installation of the application used during the course.

THIS EVENT WILL BE RECORDED FOR EDUCATIONAL OR PROMOTIONAL USE BY THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA. CONTACT THE ORGANIZERS OF THIS EVENT FOR MORE INFORMATION.

Continuing Education Units: CEUs to be applied for from California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR).
