Workshops

The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) Office of Environmental Farming & Innovation offers several funding assistance programs "supporting agricultural production and incentivizing practices resulting in a net benefit for the environment through innovation, efficient management and science." Programs include:

  • Healthy Soils Program (HSP)
  • State Water Efficiency and Enhancement Program (SWEEP)
  • Alternative Manure Management Program (AMMP)
  • Conservation Agriculture Planning Grants Program

The University of California Cooperative Extension, San Diego (UCCE) provides local outreach, education and technical assistance for these programs - qualifying project types, application requirements and process, etc. as the CDFA grant opportunities are available. Here, you'll find resources from these workshops, other training events and collaborators.
